Editing Services
For when you have a draft and need a sharper eye.
You've written something (an essay, an article, a newsletter, or an op-ed) and it's close, but something isn't quite landing. Maybe the structure feels off, and your opening buries the real point. Sometimes, what you have just doesn't flow the way you want it to.
This is where I come in. I go through your draft and work on the parts that aren't working yet while making sure it still sounds like you when we're done.
When I'm finished, you'll get a Loom video walking you through everything I touched and why, so the feedback actually makes sense, and you can learn from it, not just accept it (like math).
Every editing engagement includes a Loom walkthrough of edits and notes.

Asset Refreshers

An Asset Refresher takes what you already have and brings it up to date. It sharpens the language, updates the positioning, and makes sure every word pulls its weight.
Smaller assets, like bio and speaker sheet refreshes, include a Loom video that walks you through every change and why it was made.
Website refreshes include a live Check-In call before we begin so we're fully aligned on voice, goals, and priorities.

For when you have something to say but aren't sure how to say it yet.
You have an idea (maybe a big one), but every time you sit down to write it, it comes out wrong. Perhaps you're not sure where to start, or you know what you want to say but not how to structure it so someone else can actually follow it.
This is the service for that. We work together before you write, mapping out what the piece is really about, who it's for, what it needs to do, and how to structure it so that when you sit down to write, you're not staring at a blank page.
Think of it as building the blueprint before you build the house. By the time we're done, you'll know exactly what you're writing and how to write it.

Sometimes you don't need a full editing engagement. You need an hour with someone who knows your work, where you can bring a draft, a question, a block, or a looming deadline and actually get through it.
That's what The Edit Session is. It's a 60-minute working session where we sit down together, focus on whatever you're dealing with, and get it done.
Some people use it to work through a specific piece, while others use it to think out loud with someone who can push back. This is for folks who just need someone in their corner to stay accountable to the page.
