I'm a Latina storyteller with a passion for storytelling that digs deep into the corazón, vivacidad, y belleza of the Latino and Latine community.

 

As a storyteller with a decade of experience, I've written about everything from the tastiest tacos in town to the fierce resilience of our community. I'm passionate about sharing narratives that are as vibrant and diverse as my cultura.

 

The nuances of the Latino experience remain largely misunderstood in media, which is why I'm driven to lift up our stories with accuracy and compassion. My passion for storytelling started as a niña curiosa listening to my familia's stories at the dinner table.

 

Now, I carry those stories from my community into newsrooms because, for too long, our narratives have been muted while our spirit has never faded.

 

As a daughter of immigrants, I write to celebrate the landscape of Latinidad — in all its intersectional, bilingual, and poignant glory. This is only the beginning.
